Acadia Parish Warrant Records Acadia Parish Warrant Records

This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to send questions about official Acadia Parish warrants. Most requests belong with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office or the court that issued the warrant, not with us. The routing below points each need to the right place.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. Each of those tasks belongs to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office or the court that issued the warrant.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Here is where to route the questions most people ask about in Acadia Parish:

  • Whether a warrant exists: Louisiana has no single public statewide warrant search. Start with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office Compliance Unit at 337-788-8700 or public.requests@apso.org, and for a parish felony file, the Acadia Parish Clerk of Court Criminal Department.
  • A bench warrant for a missed court date: contact the court that set the case. In Acadia Parish that may be Rayne City Court (337-334-9677), the City Court of Eunice (337-457-6535), Crowley City Court in the Criminal Justice Building at 426 N. Avenue F with the city public-record line at 337-788-4100, or a justice-of-the-peace court for qualifying matters. The city marshal serves the process for the city court.
  • An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the issuing court sets the charge and the bond. For a parish felony, that court is the Fifteenth Judicial District Court, and the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office serves the warrant.
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: speak with a licensed Louisiana attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a surrender, or posting bond.

For parish-level records, the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office Compliance Unit is the public-records counter: 1037 Capitol Avenue, Crowley, LA 70526, 337-788-8700, public.requests@apso.org. The Acadia Parish Clerk of Court Criminal Department holds the parish felony files: 500 N.E. Court Circle, Crowley, LA 70526, 337-788-8881 ext. 5002, criminal@acadiaparishclerk.com. Clerk hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the public terminal is open to anyone.
